Public speaking
I am a seasoned public speaker and available for talks, panel discussions, workshops, keynotes and invited lectures.
I enjoy making complex scientific topics understandable for non-specialists. I am adept at connecting climate change with the needs and interests of student, voluntary sector, policy and corporate audiences.
Training and workshops
I am an experienced lecturer and trainer in climate science for a variety of levels, including sixth form, undergraduate, masters, PhD, and professional audiences. I also regularly deliver training on climate change science and solutions for other organisations.
I also offer workshops helping scientists at all career stages to improve their science communication skills, and am happy to create bespoke packages.
Consultancy
I consult on subjects relevant to my expertise, including but not limited to: science engagement, climate communication, education, extreme weather, meteorology, climate science, polar climate change, sea level rise and tipping points.
Recent clients include the Open University, SEE MONSTER/New Substance, ON and the Royal Meteorological Society.
